CMPDD Data Services
The CMPDD can provide, using their Geographic Information System, 2000 Census demographic data tailored to your specific analysis needs. One of our most popular products is the Radial
Demographic Profile. We can provide demographics for a given radius around a specified point or a specified boundary. An example of this product is illustrated here.

GIS Thematic Maps
CMPDD can prepare custom thematic maps allowing you to see key trends at a glance. For example, a thematic map showing population growth rates allows you to easily pick out areas where
your product may be becoming underrepresented.
We can customize thematic maps to meet your needs. Examples of information available for thematic maps include population density, population growth, employment by sector, employment
growth, and household income. Most of the data is available at the state, county, and census block-group level.
Central Mississippi Information Center (CMIC)
The Central Mississippi Information Center provides current comprehensive information to businesses and industries and to potential economic development prospects in order to assist
them in expanding or locating their business activities to this area.
This type of information is user-driven and continuous adjustments are made to the system so that persons and groups needing various types of data will have instant accessibility
